Athletic Eligibility

Review the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA sites.

When taking SAT and ACT register these codes:
NCAA Division I

Division II requires a minimum SAT score of 820 or an ACT sum score of 68. The ACT score used for NCAA purposes is a sum of the following four sections: English, mathematics, reading and science. SAT and ACT scores are reported directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center from the testing agency.

Division III schools do not offer athletics scholarships, 75 percent of Division III student-athletes receive some form of merit or need-based financial aid. If you are planning to attend a Division III school, you do not need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

NAIA

NJCAA

You should register no later than two months prior to when you will begin your classes at an NJCAA school. Consult you NJCAA coach.

Each of these organizations have profile registrations you should take advantage of which helps your chances of being considered.
