EZ Partners College Recruiting Assisting Student Athletes with College Recruiting Exposure Assistance

The Process

The important thing is to SEND information to coaches. Most college coaches have individual folders for athletes and put information into the folder. Keeping in touch with coaches keeps your name on their mind. Should you not go to their college, they may play against the college you did select, and could be in your conference or see you at a tournament. It never hurts to have the coach know who you are.

Exposing yourself to colleges by:

  • Start the recruiting process as early as possible. You don't have to be on varsity to start this process . As an example, send summer AAU, ASA, Team Camps, etc. stats. Frequently, coaches go to summer 16 and under tournaments to scout for future athletes.
  • Multiple mailings (keeping athlete's name fresh in coach's mind)
  • Web pages (can add more up-to-date information)
  • Recruiting videos average 10 minutes showing live games and/or athletic skills. After viewing the 10 minute video, some coaches request a game video.
  • Keeping in touch with coaches
